Cafe Neuro York - Evening Meet Up

Neurological conditions result from damage to the brain, spinal column or peripheral nerves. There are over 600 types and some are life threatening, many affect a person’s quality of life. Café Neuro York brings people with neurological conditions together with others who understand the isolation, challenges and barriers that neurological conditions create.

Anyone with a long term neurological condition and their family and friends can turn up to our informal social events, to chat, to make new friends, to hear how others overcome challenges, and if desired to join in fun activities such as quizzes, bingo and board games. We have lots of plans for the future including smoothie making, a drumming workshop, benefits advice and talks by local crafts people. There is currently no charge to attend and we also provide free refreshments. We meet at New Earswick Folk Hall on the 1st Wednesday of every month between 6—7.30pm.
