York City FC Statement on Fan Behaviour

Monday, 16 September 2024 01:18

By Joe Flynn

York City FC has expressed disappointment over recurring anti-social behaviour during match days this season.

The club has described incidents such as broken seats and damaged toilet facilities, adding financial strain to the club.

Despite previous warnings, individuals involved have been identified and face retrospective action.

The club reminded fans that misconduct, such as inappropriate chanting or the use of pyrotechnics, could result in sanctions from the FA, including fines or points deductions.

York City urges supporters to show loud, respectful support and report any incidents by texting YORK to 60060 (£1 per text) or reporting to stewards on match days.
