Many thanks have been given to a courageous security guard, whose bravery helped stop a violent attack in York and helped get the attackers arrested.

Many thanks have been given to a courageous security guard, whose bravery helped stop a violent attack in York and helped get the attackers arrested.

Helen Moynihan works as a security guard for Eboracum UK and was manning one of the security barriers in the city centre, which are designed to stop vehicle attacks in York.

As she was doing this, two people, apparently drunk, launched an attack on an innocent visitor.

In a show of bravery, Helen intervened to fight off the perpetrators and gave the victim first aid.
