Headlining the event are esteemed actors Jamie Bamber, Hattie Hayridge, Mike Quinn, and Paul Blake. Fans can chat to our guests and get autographs from them throughout the day. 

Jamie Bamber - Best known for his roles as Captain Lee "Apollo" Adama in the critically acclaimed series Battlestar Galactica and Detective Sergeant Matt Devlin in the ITV series Law & Order: UK, is set to grace York Comic-Con with his presence.  

Hattie Hayridge - Beloved for her portrayal of the ship's computer Holly in the cult classic sitcom Red Dwarf, is set to bring her unique charm to York Comic-Con. Fans of the iconic science fiction series can look forward to engaging with Hayridge, sharing laughter, and learning about her experiences as the voice behind one of the most memorable AI characters in television history. 

Mike Quinn - A seasoned puppeteer and performer, Mike is set to enchant York Comic-Con attendees with his extensive contributions to the worlds of Jim Henson. With credits including "Star Wars," "The Muppets," and "Labyrinth," Quinn has played a crucial role in bringing beloved characters to life.  

Paul Blake - Known to Star Wars fans as the infamous bounty hunter Greedo, Paul is set to make a special appearance at York Comic-Con. Attendees can meet the actor behind the memorable character, learn about the experience of being part of the Star Wars universe, and, of course, engage in the timeless debate: Who shot first?

So, What Is A Comic-Con?  Comic-Cons began in the US in the 1960s and have since then have grown into a global pop culture phenomenon which the fans in Leeds have fully embraced.  Showcasing comic books, science fiction/fantasy films and television programmes and similar popular arts as well as featuring shows with cult followings.  The entertainment elements cover all genres such as superheroes, anime, manga, horror, gaming, and Disney.
