Head over to St Sampsons Square and let Ice Box transport you to the Arctic. Watch them work their magic and transform an impressive ice cube into a work of art directly in front of your eyes!

Magic and Mythology at Middletons Hotel, Skeldergate

This year, Middletons’ family-friendly Ice Trail showcase is back and better than ever. The historic grounds will transform into a mystical world of mythology, including four show-stopping ice sculptures and plenty of photo opportunities throughout the day. York Gin, City Cruises and Potions Cauldron will be on-site, with crafts, competitions and surprise creatures – there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

The York Quest app, York BID

The York Quest app is a fun and free activity, available all year round and features augmented reality virtual characters which bring York’s famous history to life! You’ll meet some very well-known characters as well as discovering some new ones. Use the GPS-enabled map to find and collect each one. The York Quest app is free to download and is available on Google Play Store and App Store.
