Appeal for information following a burglary in York

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary that occurred in York.

The theft happened on Melton Avenue between 11pm on Sunday 16 July and 8am on Monday 17 July 2023. During the incident a white Husqvarna FE350 motor cross bike, with the registration number CY68 FJD, as well as a mountain bike and power tools were stolen from a garage. These items have a value of around £8900.

Officers are appealing for information from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident or may have details about the stolen motor cross bike.
