Police investigating a robbery at the One Stop shop on Dodsworth Avenue in York have arrested a 41-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman in connection with the incident.
It happened at around 8.40pm on Friday (29 September 2023) when two masked suspects threatened staff before making off with cigarettes. No weapons were seen or used in the offence.
The suspects have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
A 44-year-old man was also arrested. Following questioning, he was released with no further action taken.
