An exhibition inspired by the connection between Italy and Beningbrough Hall is set to open this month.

A new exhibition is set to open in Beningbrough Hall just outside of York. The display is called ‘Inspired by Italy’ and is set to open on Saturday the 16th of September on the first floor of the building.

The exhibition combines the work of Kate Somervell who is a Yorkshire-based Landscape photographer and Giovanni Battista Piranesi who’s an Italian artist from the 1700s. The display has been designed to highlight the Italian influence on the Beningbrough Hall itself and contains an introductory film in order to help showcase the connection.
