Duncombe Drive in Strensall was the target of thieves on Monday night around 1am, who broke in through a door not secured properly. They took car keys then drove off with the owners red mini towards Park Gate.
The theft involved three males all said to be around 5ft 10 tall and slim, in dark clothing including jogging bottoms, hooded tops, masks or balaclavas.
Police are asking for public to come forward if they saw or heard anything suspicious or have CCTV/doorbell footage of the incident. You can contact the police on 101, option 2.
