From 'requires improvement' to 'good', Carlton Primary School celebrates Ofsted inspection.
Having previously been marked as ‘requires improvement’ in January 2021, Carlton Primary School of 116 pupils has now been judged as ‘good’ by Ofsted inspectors.
In 2021 Ofsted said one area for improvement was the training quality for teaching foundational subject lessons. Their most recent inspection which took place in November reflected the progress that the school has made, with the Head of school, Jon Watson, saying he is “delighted but not at all surprised” with the result.
