Charites join forces for the York Volunteering Fair 2024

Over 40 local charities and organisations are gearing up for an exciting collaboration at the York Volunteering Fair 2024.

Taking place on Friday 19 January 2024, from 3pm to 6pm, this fun and informative event will be hosted by York Volunteers at the Priory Street Centre (just off Micklegate).

The York Volunteering Fair 2024 is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and aims to create a vibrant platform for residents to explore a diverse range of volunteering opportunities and have a positive impact on the local community.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to connect with numerous York charities and organisations, discovering exciting ways to learn new skills, meet new people and make a difference.

"It will be a very fun afternoon; please come along and explore a diverse array of incredible volunteering opportunities in York," encourages Jonny Stansfield from York Volunteers Centre.
