Amber Rose Beck, originally from Elvington, York, has captured the hearts of millions with her incredible dedication to feline welfare in Greece.

Saaving Lives, the cat rescue organisation she founded two years ago, has gained widespread attention after a recent video went viral on Instagram and TikTok.

Amber Rose Beck made the life-changing decision to move to Greece four years ago to work for a cat shelter. Inspired by her passion for feline well-being, she established Saaving Lives in 2020, focusing on sterilisation programs and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) initiatives to address the overpopulation of stray cats in the region.

In the past two years, Saaving Lives, with the support of English non-profits and donations from social media, has successfully sterilized over 500 cats, making a significant impact on the local Greek community. The organisation's mission has been further highlighted by a recent heartwarming success story that has garnered millions of views and likes on social media.

The viral video features Faith, a stray cat discovered in September in a dire state—completely paralysed in all four legs. Despite veterinary advice suggesting euthanasia due to a seemingly hopeless prognosis, Amber Rose Beck and her dedicated French friend Alexane Ricard refused to give up on Faith. Through unwavering patience and comprehensive care, Faith not only regained the ability to walk but is now leading a healthy and happy life.

Members of the media are invited to contact Saaving Lives for interviews, additional information, or to feature this extraordinary story. The founders are available for interviews at : alexane@saavinglives.com
