A total of 39 ghosts have taken over York for the duration of October.
The Ghosts in the Garden trail returns for another year with 3D ghosts made out of wire mesh placed in 13 different locations in the city! These ghosts include an archer at the top of Clifford's Tower, a miller at the back of York Castle Museum and a figure throwing a bucket of slop from the first floor of the Shambles.
The event was launched in 2021 with the figures growing in number and complexity year by year. It’s been created by the Business Improvement District and the design agency Unconventional Designs and will run until Saturday the 12th of November.
