York’s Grand Opera House is undergoing some major improvements giving the historic theatre a fresh new makeover.
York’s Grand Opera House is undergoing some major improvements giving the historic theatre a fresh new makeover.
The refurbishments of the opera house will include new flooring and carpets, a fresh bar and foyer area as well as improvements to the toilets making them more accessible for audiences.
There will be also technical advances to the theatre such as QR codes which allow audiences to order drinks to their seats top help reduce traffic in the bar area.
The venue will be closed throughout the duration of the renovation with the hope that it brings the beginning of a fresh new era for the Grand Opera House.
