A road on the outskirts of York is due to close for more than a month. The closure of Grosvenor Road in Clifton will commence today at 8am and will remain off limits until 18th September.
A road on the outskirts of York is due to close for more than a month. The closure of Grosvenor Road in Clifton will commence today at 8am and will remain off limits until 18th September.
It is believed that the closure is due to ongoing work at Bootham Crescent, where some of the ground’s large walls are being taken down. The road is just outside of the old ground.
The land where York FC’s home for nearly 90 years once stood will be re-developed in to 93 new homes.
