Tributes have continued to pour in since the sudden death of Harry Gration on Friday, aged 71.

Tributes have continued to pour in since the sudden death of Harry Gration on Friday aged 71. 

Harry, was a BBC Look North presenter for 40 years until retirement in 2020, and was well-known around York where he lived but also much further afield.  Originally from Bradford he supported York City Football Club, participated in many charity events raising large amounts of money and even appeared alongside Berwick Kaler every year in Panto.  Harry was deputy lieutenant of North Yorkshire.

In 2013, he was awarded the MBE as well as being named “Man of the Year” in the Yorkshire Awards.
