Hollywood to come to Church Fenton

Exciting times are ahead for the village of Church Fenton, which is just south of York.

There has been a promise of 1,800 jobs and almost a billion-pound boost to the economy, as Hollywood is coming to the small village.

The go ahead has been given for a 15,000 square metre film-making facility on the aerodrome.

The development will be for office space, three new stages/TV studios and new landscaping at the site.

The site has hosted productions already and will hope to produce many more.
