As part of the Jubilee celebrations a new Jubilee beacon will be lit in Upper Poppleton on the 2nd June at 9.45pm on the village green.
As part of the Jubilee celebrations a new Jubilee beacon will be lit in Upper Poppleton on the 2nd June at 9.45pm on the village green.
Food and drink will be available to purchase however, the audience are invited to bring along their own picnic and flags and join in the community sing along and bag pipe playing.
This is one of over 2000 beacons being lit across the country by charities, community organisations and faith groups.
