Kent Street, behind the York Barbican, is set to remain closed for another week. Work on the road began on the 7th of August, however, due to work overrunning, the completion date has now been pushed back for a second time.
The first extension saw it due to reopen yesterday, but now it is set to stay shut until Tuesday the 28th of November. Access to both the York Fire Station and the Q-Park car park will remain open during the work, which is set to take place between 10pm and 6am each morning.
