North Yorkshire local author Christina Gabbitas and North Yorkshire Police have partnered together to educate children about crime.
North Yorkshire local author Christina Gabbitas and North Yorkshire Police have partnered together to educate children about crime.
The author had previously partnered with the police in 2021 promoted the same topic which involves educating children on county lines, knives and grooming.
The children are taught about this through scenarios comics and poems to help make them aware of the dangers of these crimes.
These sessions are with Year 6’s across the county as the author believes that children at this age can comprehend and understand the issues facing them and hopefully avoid it in the future.
