A company called Prospects who has been successfully delivering Supported Internship Programmes in the South of England has now started to deliver the same programme in the Wakefield, York and North Yorkshire area.

Prospects is a part of the Shaw Trust Group, a national charity with its roots firmly in making significant positive changes to the lives of people with disabilities, their families, and the communities they live in.

The Supported Internships seek to make a difference in the lives of young people aged between 17 and 24 who live in the locality and have aspirations for employed work and learning …. alongside managing some additional or extra needs in their lives.

They are currently seeking local companies who will be willing to offer a placement opportunity to a young person at no cost giving an opportunity for employers to support their local communities by giving interns some important work experience.

You can find more information on Facebook: Shaw Trust | Facebook
