Police launch appeal after taxi driver threatened in York

North Yorkshire Police have launched an appeal for information about a road rage incident that occurred in York.

The incident happened at 11.20am on Monday 6 May on Crombie Avenue and ended on Wigginton Road near the first roundabout entrance to York District Hospital.

A man who was driving a Ford Mondeo followed a taxi before proceeding to make verbal threats and damaging the taxi.

The area was busy with other motorists and members of the public at the time and the force are appealing for any witnesses or road users that may have dashcam footage.
