Sam Diatta died on 26th July 2023, after being restrained by members of the public in York’s former Mappin & Webb Jewellery store on Coney Street.
Police have said that none of the four men who were initially arrested will be charged with any offence, following on from the investigation which aimed to prove or disprove individual or collective involvement in Mr Diatta’s death.
