Record number of motorists caught speeding in North Yorkshire last year

New figures for North Yorkshire have noted that a record number of motorists in the region were convicted of speeding last year.

North Yorkshire Police have recently told of the horrors that speeding causes on people’s lives, having witnessed this all too often.

The number of motorists who were convicted of speeding in 2022 was a shocking 22% more than when comparable records started in 2014.

However, police are cracking down on this and 75% of those who had court proceedings last year, were convicted.
