Two York teenagers have avoided jail sentences for their role in breaking another boy’s jaw in an attack.

Robert Fitch, who was 16 at the time of the December 2020 attack, and another boy aged 14 at the time, were among a group of around 30 youths who ganged up on the victim.

Instead of facing jail time, the boys will have to follow a six-month nightly curfew, which will be between the hours of 7pm and 6am, as well as a five-year restraining order which aims to protect the victim from further harm.
