York Christmas market traders get wifi boost

York Christmas Market stalls have received a hi- tech boost for their businesses.

Trading on the market may have the advantage of many consumers, but wifi signal was a huge disadvantage.

Traders had been struggling to process digital payments due to connectivity issues.

Until UK Fibre Networks stepped in to provide a temporary wifi network for all traders in the Christmas Market, and all for free.

The network providing company has said they want to support the market, so traders can take full advantage of the busy period.
