Local singer and songwriter Alistair Griffin from Ignite Concerts held his Big Christmas Concerts over the last two weeks at Q Church on Priory Street, celebrated as the “perfect start” to the holidays.
Opened by the Lockwood brass band, Alistair headlined with acoustic Christmas songs. Guests included Alistair's eight year old son Tom who signed to Alistair’s rendition of Shakin Stevens Merry Christmas Everyone, as well as upcoming York singer Maggie Wakeling with her jazz set.
With a packed out audience it was a great success, particularly with the emerging local talent on display.
