The pair vow to tackle all challenges that matter to local people following Labours recent win in the local elections.

Some of the challenges the pair are looking to sink their teeth into include: reversing the blue badge ban, building affordable housing, insulating homes to cut bills and carbon, recruiting a team of neighbourhood caretakers to look after the community and bring more well paid jobs to York.

This comes after the number one issue for voters across the country was the cost of living crisis.
