York mental health charity win award for short film

York based mental health charity has won an award for a short film which showcases the loss of suicide.

Menfulness, launched the film entitled “One More Day” and was dedicated to the memory of all the victims of suicide.

Photos of victims that are connected to the charity are also showcased at the end of the film.

The film won gold in the Judges choice category at the Smiley Charity Film Awards

It stars one of the charity’s trustees Jack Woodhams, as the father and young actor, Adam Kane as the son.
