York mystery plays return

The York mystery plays will return again to York this summer re-telling the story of God’s creation of the world.

The plays will be staged on wagons and performed across the city eight stories being told on different wagons.

The event has over 400 volunteers taking part including actors, musicians set builders and wagon pushers.

The performances will take place at Kings manor on the 19^th and 26^th of June and at the Shambles Market on the 22^nd and 23^rd of June.
