Students at Huntington Secondary School hosted a special Christmas themed afternoon tea for local senior citizens.
80 local pensioners attended the open event and were presented with a glass of sherry and a mice pie on entry, followed up by a selection of sandwiches and sausage rolls.
Staff of the school stated that the day was ‘fantastic’ and an “enjoyable experience for everyone involved”. One happy customer even compared it to the famed Ritz in London.
The party is an ongoing tradition at the school and due to the success of this year’s event, its one they hope will continue.
