The ‘Going in, Not missing out’ campaign aims to show the positive impacts that school attendance can have as well as reflecting the negatives neglecting to attend can have on the individual and community.
After the pandemic disruption school attendance dropped throughout York but the campaign hopes to change this by raising awareness of the issue and implementing measures to reduce truancy such as fixed penalties.
