York City can confirm that goalkeeper Maison Campbell has been recalled from his loan spell at Scunthorpe United, following an option triggered in the loan deal.
The 20-year-old has been the understudy to experienced 29-year-old goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons at the play-off chasing Iron.
Campbell featured twice for Scunthorpe in the Lincolnshire Senior Cup, helping them reach the final through victories against Gainsborough Trinity and Cleethorpes Town. Jimmy Dean's side will face Spalding United at Lincoln City's LNER Stadium later this month.
