Last Saturday York City rescued a point against Maidenhead in the National League. City conceded in the 16th minute, however, drew level when Will Davies was able to get on the end of a cross to find the back of the net.
Dipo Akinyemi hit the post later in the game however the Minstermen were unable to find a winner. Manager Neal Ardley said that a point was not good enough and that York City needed to win. Further down the table, Kidderminster were able to pick up a win which means that York City will go into this week only two points above the relegation zone.
