Police launch appeal after York bike theft

North Yorkshire Police have asked people to keep their eyes open after a mountain bike was stolen.

North Yorkshire Police have asked people to keep their eyes open after a mountain bike was stolen.

The bike was stolen from the bike racks on St Andrewgate on the afternoon of Saturday 6 April 2024.

It is a matt black On One ‘Big Dog’ mountain bike. At the time of the theft the bike was fitted with large black front and rear mudguards, a black frame bag and front and rear lights.

The bike has the frame number OL 19019116.  It was locked with two other bikes that were not taken.

North Yorkshire Police said:

If you have seen the stolen bike or know where it is, please email ben.robinson-brockhill@northyorkshire.police.uk or call 101, select option 2, and ask for Ben Robinson-Brockhill.
