A large attraction which debuted in York last Christmas will not be returning this year. The Winter Hutte, the two-storey pop-up bar and eatery which was located on Parliament Street replaced Thor’s Tipi and was expected to return this Christmas. It's website still states: ‘We look forward to welcoming you back next festive season!’
Make it York, however, which runs the St Nicholas Fair, is exploring other options for the space and has not commented on why the decision has been made. They said: “Unfortunately we aren’t able to discuss contractual agreements, but we are pleased to be working closely with businesses and organisations within the city to create an exciting plan for Christmas 2023.”
