To celebrate their 12th birthday The Hut York will be hosting The Wacky Races.
This will consist of having fun races in specially designed cars round their garden that their members have beautifully made, followed by a grand summer picnic & fun games to finish off their day.
The Hut York is a registered charity set up in 2011. It was created in response to an increasing need for day facilities in York. Since 2015 Emma has been the Service Manager, working alongside a team and a board of Trustees who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fields of Mental Health and Learning Disabilities.
The Hut are also appealing to York's amazing local businesses, some of which have supported the charity over the years, to see if they are able to donate any of their products as prizes!!
The Hut said "We hope to see lots of people to help us celebrate a remarkable charity that does so much for the local community and raise vital funds so the team can continue their good work."
