From 10am – 4pm on Saturday 8 October the York Against Cancer team will be in York City Centre on Parliament Street to raise awareness of their work in cancer care, and education and research in the local area.

From 10am – 4pm on Saturday 8 October the York Against Cancer team will be in York City Centre on Parliament Street to raise awareness of their work in cancer care, and education and research in the local area.
Their brand new Christmas cards will be on sale along with a cake stall, tombola, live music and lots of useful information to learn and take away with you.
The team will also be joined by researchers from the Jack Birch Unit at University of York who will be providing some greound breaking updates on recent cancer research findings.
If you would like to volunteer to support the team for the day, they have opportunities for collections, managing stalls and general all-round support. Email office@yorkagainstcancer.org.uk to volunteer.
