The launch of a campaign to educate drinkers about a classic gin proved a huge hit at Spark this week. Over 100 people enjoyed an evening of cocktails, gin history, and distilling expertise by the York Gin team and mixologists from the Star Inn The City.
The Tuesday event saw guests including the Lady Mayoress and Lord Mayor, as well as the Sherrif of York and her Consort. ‘Old Tom Month’ was also launched during the evening, a fun educational celebration about the 18th Century gin.
